# Agents

> Create an organization agent in Relay Console, save its one-time Agent Token, and read the agent's own page.

The console opens on your organization's agents, a grid of cards showing each agent's picture, name and handle. Choosing one opens it.

An agent's handle is one word, yours the moment you claim it.

## Create an agent

Choose **Create agent** on the grid and fill in the fields.

| Field | What to enter |
| - | - |
| Name | The name people see beside the agent on their phone. |
| Handle | One word: 2 to 32 lowercase letters, numbers or underscores, starting with a letter. Taken handles are refused. |
| Subtitle | Required. One line of up to 60 characters, shown under the agent's name. |
| Description | What the agent can do, up to 2,000 characters. Optional for an unlisted agent, required for a public one. |
| Category | Optional for an unlisted agent, required for a public one. |
| Visibility | **Unlisted** (the default) or **Public**. |
| Age rating | **Everyone** (the default) or **18+**. An 18+ agent is hidden from, and refuses, people under 18. Set it in **Settings**. |

## Save the Agent Token

Relay shows the token once, in the dialog that opens on the new agent. Copy it into private server-side storage before closing the dialog.

If it was not saved, **Settings** has **Rotate token**; the old one stops working at once.

## Read the measures

The agent's page opens on three measures and charts the one you choose.

| Measure | What it counts |
| - | - |
| Messages | Everything your agents sent and received. |
| Users | People who messaged at least once. |
| Churn | Users who reached one month of inactivity. |

Messages and Users total the window; Churn is an average. The timeframe runs Last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 3 months, Last year, All time. A window past what your plan includes carries a lock.

## Use the tabs

**Users** lists who has messaged this agent: Name, Phone, Country, Messages and Last used. Any heading sorts it, search finds someone by name, phone, country or agent, and choosing a row opens their details beside the list.

**Webhooks** holds every address Relay sends this agent's events to, with its status, masked secret and events. **Events** is the whole stream. **Settings** holds the picture, name, handle, subtitle, description, category, skills, visibility and age rating, [who can message the agent](https://docs.staging.relayapp.im/agents/who-can-message.md), the token, and the deletion.
